The name Bloubergstrand literally means ¨blue mountain beach¨ in the local South African language of Afrikaans and is derived from Blaauberg, meaning Blue Mountain, a nearby mountain range. The Bloubergstrand area is world famous as the mecca for surfing, kite boarding, sand boarding and stand up paddle boarding (SUP). With the area´s combination of consistent SE winds and perfect beach spots, it provides world class conditions for all water sports activities.

Bentley´s Guesthouse offers 5 luxury rooms, consisting of 1 king bed en-suite with a separate entrance (that can be versatile and converted into 2 twin beds) and 4 queen rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms on the same ground floor. It has a large modern open plan kitchen, relaxing lounge TV room with a wood burning fireplace and 10 seater solid oak dining room table. French doors leading out with a view of the sparkling outdoor pool, sun loungers and modern wooden cabana and entertaining deck. The outdoor deck is equipped with a Braai/BBQ and steps down into a private garden with a storage facility for water sports.

Pam Wedderburn-Clarke set up her own successful guesthouse called Nyaleti Lodge 5 years ago, located on the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate in the safari bush near the Kruger National Park. Pam is a really hospitable manager with a huge passion for hospitality, people, wildlife and nature. Pam decided to sell her guesthouse and return to Cape Town to help manage Bentley’s Guesthouse. Pam has excellent guesthouse management experience from running her own hugely successful safari styled guesthouse over the last 5 years. She is an excellent host, specializing in her hospitality skills with guests. She is always professional, service orientated and has a warm and friendly personality, always willing to assist our guests to make them feel like they are in their ‘home away from home’. Pam is a valuable asset to Bentley´s Guest House.
Adam and Kelly Bentley have worked together for the last 7 years as a Captain and Chef team on luxury super yachts around the Mediterranean and Caribbean. They met and fell in love in Cape Town and have been travelling the world together since, embracing their love for travel, sailing, the ocean, nature, wildlife and entertaining guests. They have a superb passion for the hospitality industry and running their own boutique guesthouse, is therefore a natural fit for them. Adam and Kelly offer personalised hands on service to their guests.
Milo is a large German short haired pointer dog, who is the official Bentley’s Boutique Guesthouse mascot. He is a friendly, affectionate and lovable companion, adding a warm affectionate charm to your “home away from home” experience.
Together, Adam, Kelly and Pam form a dynamic team managing Bentley’s Guesthouse offering high end personalized service, paired with their warm and friendly Capetonian hospitality!
